To apply for a foreign worker’s work permit, the employer or business owner should have a valid approved LMIA (Labor Market Impact Assessment) proving that no Canadians/ PRs met the job criteria to facilitate the hiring process outside or inside Canada. Moreover, the work permit issued under this pathway is up to 24 months which helps TFW transition to becoming a permanent resident through Express Entry, Canadian Express Class, or Provincial Nominee Program.
